A little help for our non-Danish friends

We’ve had several complaints (three, to be accurate) from our non-Danish readers (potential readers anyhow), about this blog being all in Danish. Well, we are Danish, so we’re not going to change that, but in case you haven’t learned our language yet, here’s a little summary in English.

About us:

Stine and Hanne met at the Danish School of Journalism in the fall of 2008. They soon discovered that they shared more than just beautifully home-cut bangs: A passion for comic books, indie rock and gin, and even an ex-boyfriend, just to give a few examples. However, only four months later they were parted by the Atlantic Ocean. On this blog they’re exchanging thoughts, photos, and drawings while studying on their 8th and final semester; Stine at the Danish School of Journalism and Hanne as an exchange student in Canada (the land of maple sirup and amazing men, according to myth. Hanne and Stine’s myth, anyway). They’re also battling each other in Stick Wars (sort of a combination of Pictionary and Tekken).

Update:

In Canada, Hanne is trying to keep warm, prevent the cats from eating her computer and her books, understand the language (if you think that they speak ”French” in Québec, think again) and learn how to be academic (if you think that the Danish School of Journalism is a ”University”, think again). She is already jeopardizing the quest for amazing Canadian men by dating a yankee.

Meanwhile in Denmark, Stine should have been enjoying her month-long break, but instead she’s spent it running around with half naked soldiers and working like a maniac. Her special talent for attracting creepy guys is growing stronger all the time, so she desperately needs Hanne to get back on track and start shipping some non-freeky men to Århus.
